Training & Course Content

Our training includes point-and-click tools like spreadsheets, and progresses to advanced applications. Coding is optional, but we offer Python and R tracks for those pursuing data careers. Our online assessments can help you identify gaps in your skills and offer a pathway for training. Participants also get free access to all the premium resources of DataCamp and Dataquest.

Yes, our main career tracks focus on Python and R, often paired with other software tools.

All IoA training is online, accessible from a standard laptop or mobile device. Some courses are designed to be completed in short, 15-minute sessions.

While we include some videos, our primary learning environment emphasises fully supported, hands-on analytics tasks rather than video-based learning.

As well as strong skills in data manipulation, we also encourage our members to develop competency in Communication, Governance and Professionalism and Leadership with a focus on effective cross-functional teaming.

The IoA provides comprehensive training resources included in your membership. There are more than 700 courses. A couple of our courses designed for our Corporate or Education partners may have restricted access.

IoA members can view recordings of past webinars through the member dashboard. Live webinar access is available to all visitors by registration.

Technical Support & Account Management

If your membership lapses, please contact us at hello@ioaglobal.org to reactivate your account or to resolve any issues.

Ensure you have registered with IoA and accessed DataCamp through our member dashboard. Use the same email for both platforms. Try resetting your password and double checking you are using the correct email address that you used to register. For technical support use the ‘Support’ tab in the top right of the website. For other issues, email our support team at hello@ioaglobal.org.

Log in to the IoA Platform, then follow this path: Learning > Click on "View" in Knowledge & Analytics > Click on "Go to Datacamp".

If you are still having issues accessing DataCamp, check if you have two DataCamp accounts. If you’ve registered separately on DataCamp, this may cause issues. You can resolve this by merging the accounts.

Changing your email ID in DataCamp/Dataquest can create a new account, separate from your old one. Your previous course progress is likely tied to the old email ID. You can either try logging in with your old email or contact DataCamp support to check if merging accounts under two different email IDs is possible.

Please register for updates by submitting your email at the bottom of the landing page of our website or email us at hello@ioaglobal.org to confirm that your contact information is current.

If you encounter payment issues, please contact our support team at support@ioaglobal.org or use the ‘Support’ tab at the top of the website for prompt assistance.

Just email membership@ioaglobal.org to let us know your new email address. We will make sure your new email address is updated and ensure you can log into your IoA Member account. We will update Datacamp and Dataquest too. Please allow 2 working days for the changes to go live.
