Amogh Garg is an AI infrastructure forecasting and economics leader with over 16 years of experience helping some of the world’s largest technology organizations make high-stakes capacity decisions under uncertainty.

His career spans the full spectrum of forecasting complexity—from spare parts planning for diagnostic imaging equipment at Philips Healthcare, to pre-launch demand forecasting for consumer electronics at Microsoft across the Surface and Xbox product lines, to cloud and AI infrastructure forecasting at Amazon Web Services, Meta, and Salesforce.

At AWS, he led the development of forecasting systems designed to predict demand for products before they launch—a uniquely difficult problem where no historical data exists. He also helped develop a delayed buying model that shortened procurement timelines while maintaining service reliability.

At Salesforce, Amogh focuses on AI infrastructure, with an emphasis on GPU demand forecasting and capacity planning for Agentforce, the company’s agentic AI platform. His work centers on predicting and securing GPU capacity in a market where supply is tight and demand is difficult to anticipate. As Agentforce expands globally, he works to balance availability, cost, and flexibility in an environment where demand consistently outpaces supply.

Through his writing and speaking engagements, he explores how organizations can manage demand uncertainty and build adaptive infrastructure systems—from compute capacity and procurement economics to the power constraints shaping the next generation of large-scale AI.
