Meet Our IoA Fellows

Chandima Dabare is a senior data analytics professional with over two decades of experience in analytics, data science, and business intelligence, driving measurable impact across the banking sector. He currently serves as Senior Manager – Retail Business Intelligence & Support at Qatar National Bank, where he handles cross-functional analytics initiatives that harness automated dashboards, as well as descriptive, diagnostic, prescriptive, and predictive analytics to enhance customer value, profitability, and operational performance.

His expertise spans machine learning, predictive modeling, customer segmentation, data visualization, and KPI-driven dashboard design. Notably, Chandima collaborated with VISA International to lead the development of analytical dashboard solutions for the FIFA World Cup 2022, FIFA Arab Cup 2021, and AFC Asian Cup 2023.

He holds an MSc in Data Analytics from the University of Glasgow (UK), an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Moratuwa (Sri Lanka), and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the National University of Ireland, Dublin. He is also an Advanced Data Science Professional (Royal Statistical Society), a Senior Professional Member of the Australian Computer Society, and a Professional Member of the British Computer Society.
