As a senior data engineering leader, I have spent over a decade transforming raw data into scalable platforms and actionable insights that power business, operational excellence, and sustainability. At Amazon, I apply the “data as a product” philosophy to architect and operate modern, resilient data infrastructures supporting global business domains such as identity verification and financial risk mitigation. My work has enabled the proactive detection of bad actors, contributing to an estimated $1 billion in annual entitlement savings. Through initiatives like the NorthStar data platform and the Redshift Optimization Manager, I have delivered scalable systems that improve operational efficiency, cut costs, and embed long-term resilience.

A hallmark of my career has been advancing sustainability through data. I led the optimization of mission-critical packaging datasets and scaled the SIPP program to 21 global marketplaces, driving $21 million in annual savings and reducing packaging waste in alignment with Amazon’s Climate Pledge. By building real-time streaming pipelines and data quality alerting systems, I strengthened fulfillment operations and helped uphold 99.9% SLA commitments during peak seasons. These initiatives reflect my ability to bridge technical depth with strategic environmental and operational goals at enterprise scale.

Beyond engineering, I actively contribute to the global data and AI ecosystem as a speaker, researcher, and judge. My published research on homelessness prevention using AI models showcases how modern data systems can solve pressing societal challenges. I serve as a judge for innovation awards, speak at leading conferences, and mentor emerging talent — reinforcing my commitment to responsible, sustainable data practices. Internally, I have built documentation platforms, QBR cadences, and community forums that strengthen organizational data literacy and foster collaboration.

My technical foundation spans AWS, Azure, BI/ETL tools, streaming platforms, and modern AI frameworks. Prior to Amazon, I led data transformation at Crane Worldwide Logistics, building the TruthCenter platform to unify operational visibility across continents. Looking ahead, my vision is to pioneer intelligent data estates that combine AI, governance, and ethical design to drive measurable business and societal impact. I aim to continue shaping the future of data engineering — turning data into a catalyst for innovation, sustainability, and meaningful change.
