Meet Our IoA Fellows

Madhura Raut is a Principal Data Scientist at Workday and a tech leader based in San Francisco, California, with over nine years of experience designing and deploying large-scale machine learning systems in enterprise environments. Her work focuses on time-series forecasting, agentic AI, deep learning, and production-grade AI systems that deliver measurable business impact.

At Workday, Madhura serves as the seed Machine Learning Engineer for the ML-powered Scheduling and Labor Optimization product. She leads and mentors a team of machine learning engineers, guiding system architecture, model strategy, and end-to-end production deployment. She is the inventor of multiple U.S. patents related to forecasting and ensemble learning.

Madhura holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. Beyond her industry role, she actively contributes to the research and practitioner community as a speaker, reviewer, hackathon judge, and mentor. She has served as a reviewer for top-tier conferences and journals and was a keynote speaker at KDD 2025, one of the most prestigious data science conferences globally.

She is an IOA Fellow and a Senior Member of IEEE and IET.
