Interview

  1. Why did you join the Institute of Analytics?

Joining the Institute of Analytics was a natural step in my commitment to lifelong learning, ethical innovation, and global knowledge sharing. I believe in fostering a responsible data culture and staying connected to a global network of thought leaders and practitioners. The IoA offers an ideal platform to exchange ideas, stay current with best practices, and mentor emerging talent in the analytics domain.

  2. The question everyone wants to ask: what was it like working at Industrial Scientific?

Industrial Scientific has been a remarkable chapter in my journey. It’s where technology and purpose align—to protect lives through data and innovation. Leading global data and digital transformation initiatives here has been both challenging and deeply fulfilling. We’ve implemented GenAI-driven architectures, launched new SaaS platforms, and built a 24x7 development center in India, all contributing to $3B+ in impact. It’s a place where innovation has real-world consequences.

  3. What does your career journey look like?

My journey began with a passion for systems thinking and problem-solving. From launching benchmarking practices at Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) to scaling ML powered growth strategies at Nestlé and modernizing cloud platforms at Fannie Mae, every step has been about solving complex business problems through data. Today, I lead global strategy at Industrial Scientific, transforming how enterprises use AI, IoT, and automation to scale impact.

  4. Do you have a personal motto or credo that has guided your career?

“Measure what matters and empowers through data.” This has been my guiding light. I believe that when data is democratized, teams thrive. I’ve applied this credo to every initiative— whether building self-service analytics tools, driving FAIR data governance, or enabling 30,000 automation hours through GenAI.

  5. What changes would you like to see in the world?

I envision a future where AI and data innovation are inclusive, ethical, and sustainable. We need stronger global standards for responsible AI use and a deeper focus on human-centered design. I’d like to see more efforts to bridge the digital divide so that innovation doesn’t leave anyone behind.

  6. Where do you see the future of data and your role in that?

The future of data lies in intelligent orchestration where GenAI, edge computing, and autonomous systems converge. I see my role evolving into an AI ethicist and innovation strategist, guiding how organizations harness AI responsibly while maximizing its value. My goal is to help businesses move from data-aware to truly data-intelligent.

  7. Outside work, what is your life like?

Outside the office, I enjoy mentoring, writing research papers, and engaging with global hackathons as a judge. I’m also an active participant in IEEE and academic conferences, where I support AI research and peer review. On a personal note, I value time with family, exploring nature, and reading about behavioral economics and emerging tech trends. It helps me stay grounded and curious.
