Ravi Teja Galla is a distinguished Senior Data Engineer at Amazon, recognized for his expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-impact data platforms. With over a decade of experience spanning both public and private sectors, he has consistently delivered systems that are technically robust and nationally relevant, enabling organizations to make insight-driven decisions at scale.

At Amazon, Ravi leads mission-critical data initiatives that underpin the company's global e-commerce ecosystem. His work includes architecting petabyte-scale AWS-based data lakes, building real-time data pipelines for business intelligence, and designing automated ETL workflows for executive dashboards. He also plays a pivotal role in implementing Amazon's data privacy framework, ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and architecting solutions for data deletion requirements (OD3/PD2).

Prior to joining Amazon, Ravi contributed significantly to India's public-sector data transformation efforts. He served as a chief data architect for the National Data and Analytics Platform (NDAP) by NITI Aayog, centralizing datasets from over 20 ministries to enhance accessibility and usability. Additionally, he played a key role in developing the Corporate Data Management System for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MoCA), integrating operational and financial data from more than 25 institutions to improve transparency and decision-making processes.

Ravi's technical skill set covers the entire data and analytics stack, both on-premise and cloud-based. His expertise spans AWS, Redshift, Spark, SQL, Airflow, Python, and QuickSight, with a focus on building infrastructure that seamlessly aligns business, engineering, and compliance objectives. Beyond technology, he is committed to mentoring emerging talent and fostering a strong data culture within organizations.
