Sagar Varma Samanthapudi is a pioneering figure in the global landscape of DataEngineering and Artificial Intelligence, widely recognized for his transformative contributions to data science in the service of public good and educational equity. As a data expert and thought leader at Indiana University’s Polis Center, he has led the design and deployment of scalable, intelligent data systems that power some of the most impactful community analytics initiatives in the United States—including the SAVI Community Information System.

Positioned at the forefront of experts advancing AI for societal benefit, Samanthapudi’s work is distinguished by a rare fusion of technical depth, ethical foresight, and cross- sector innovation. His efforts have not only strengthened the access to community data for social good but also to make informed decision making by the governments and Policy Makers through Automated and Scalable Data Pipelines, which have also reshaped data models for institutional thinking around accessibility, inclusion, and data driven decision-making at scale.
