With 14+ years leading data science and planning teams, Sajay builds and scales machine learning solutions that drive high-impact decisions. At Microsoft, he founded a data science group focused on optimizing cloud infrastructure for the next generation of Cloud and AI. His team—PhD Economists, Statisticians, and Developers—develops ML and econometric models that guide Microsoft’s global infrastructure strategy through risk- optimized planning.

Combining technical depth with strategic leadership, Sajay bridges AI, economics, and business. His work in hybrid econometric modeling—merging deep learning with classical methods—advances predictive analytics and decision-making. An MBA graduate from Chicago Booth with prior experience at BCG, he’s passionate about mentoring others to build scalable, impactful ML solutions and future industry leaders.
