Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG), Asia's flagship tech event, where technology intersects with society and the digital economy, is being held from the 7th to 9th June at Singapore's prestigious Singapore Expo. The IoA was invited to be the ATxEnterprise Knowledge Partner as the IoA's Director of Education, Dr Clare Walsh, will chair the final day's agenda as well as lead a masterclass. ATxEnterprise is a series of co-located events within ATxSG that includes TechXLR8.

Under the strapline The Transformative Power of Technology, TechXLR8 showcases today's technology companies which are purpose-led businesses with missions to transform society and the environment around them.

Asia's new generation of founders is less motivated by money and more focused on making a positive impact, with big ambitions to solve even bigger global problems from climate change to biodiversity loss, and food insecurity to overworked populations. Asia's tech ecosystem is growing rapidly, but can it develop and deploy sustainable solutions fast enough to counter the harms already in effect?

As Knowledge Partner for ATxEnterprise, the IoA will be sharing space with speakers from multinationals that include Tata, PwC, Dell and WhatsApp.

ATxEnterprise Headliners will convene the biggest names in technology, innovation and investment to set out how they are shaping the industries of the future - from green tech and genetics to cybersecurity and the metaverse.

In her role as Chair for the TechXLR8 programme on 9th June, Dr Clare will give the Chairperson's Welcome and then lead a Leadership Masterclass on Data-driven Decision Making - Actions You Can Take Away to Change Mindsets around Data. She will then join a panel focused on The Geopolitics of AI and Emerging Tech followed by a Sustainability Panel that asks the question Can AI Shape the Path to a More Sustainable Future?
